Solar+storage is rapidly expanding its footprint within the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, thriving on a variety of use cases that can help businesses mitigate energy costs, manage operational risk, reduce their carbon footprint and even establish new revenue streams. The right technology choices are key to unlocking value, but stakeholders need to stay on top of market trends to make the most of their assets.

In this pv magazine Webinar, the high potential of C&I solar + storage will be examined in this extended deep dive. Key trends and intelligent solutions that enhance profitability and provide flexibility in this rapidly expanding segment will be explored and dissected.

We’ll hear from Ali Bouattour, Technical Director EMEA at GoodWe, who will elaborate on C&I storage benefits and opportunities, including self-consumption, peak-shaving, uninterrupted power supply, and overall sustainability. In addition, we’ll hear about developments that will further improve economics, ranging from EV charging, time of use and dynamic tariffs, opportunities for subsidies, and more. Bouattour will also look at additional value streams, including virtual power plant (VPP) and grid support opportunities.

In addition, we’ll learn about GoodWe’s C&I PV + Storage product family, including insights into operating modes, software developments and feature roadmap, and how these aspects play a role for relevant use cases.

The second half of the program will feature a panel discussion crossing international solar markets. Joining us will be distributors and suppliers from across EMEA to discuss the state of play in the C&I solar + storage market and what’s driving demand in their respective regions. The discussion will also look at typical use-cases each panellist is seeing, relevant hurdles, and where future growth lies, with the different perspectives bringing together a wider industry view. The panel the following companies from regions:

  • Solelgrossisten SE – Sweden
  • PEAKPLAN by memodo – Germany
  • Krannich – South Africa
  • Fenecon- Germany
  • BayWa – Czech Republic

The moderated panel aims to facilitate an understanding that comes from the idea that we are together all more informed than any one of us, bringing ideas, and trends in C&I to the forefront. A question-and-answer session will follow the panel.
