Purchasing modules in 2022 – What should be in your purchase contract?

Since the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions have become the new norm. Add in the pressing need for improved supply chain transparency and traceability for quality and ethical sustainability and this new norm is rapidly becoming the litmus test for PV module marketability.

In this pv magazine Webinar, Senergy Technical Services (STS) will take us through the elaboration of a good purchase agreement, pointing out the potential pitfalls that companies may miss, such as quality control plan details, the selection of the inspection body performing QAQC, and supply chain transparency requirements formulated in a Supplier Code of Conduct to which the purchase agreement may refer.

With the current level of supply chain disruption, the expense of identifying a defect in the field as opposed to in the factory is only increasing. In turn, the need to assess the integrity of supply chains and maintain quality assurance through standardized inspections is also on the rise.
