Packed with Power: High-powered solutions for agile utility-scale solar projects

More powerful and flexible PV components are fueling the development of the next generation of European utility scale solar arrays. Along with this, the number of PV countries experiencing growth in their large-scale market segments in Europe is also increasing – bringing with it a range of regulatory, design and supply chain challenges.

A special two-hour pv magazine Webinar will address these themes, providing both the market and technology insights that PV project developers, investors and EPCs require to avail themselves of this new cycle of opportunity. The webinar will provide a particular insight into the new generation of high-powered string inverters, modules and power plant controllers, that are set to reshape project development in 2021 and beyond.

The extended webinar will have two streams for discussion. The first, the market stream, will include an overview of the European large-scale segment, including offtaker trends, the continent’s project pipeline, repowering opportunities and supplier trends. It will provide detailed information into the application of high-powered string inverters in European PV projects and the integration of battery storage.

The second stream will focus heavily on new technologies, including the next generation of inverters and modules, and advanced power plant controllers that are able to optimize and control grid feed-in – in accordance with new regulations set to become a feature of many European PV marketplaces.

Program highlights include:

  • Europe’s utility scale revival, from IHS Markit
  • Strategies for supplying the expanding number of European large scale markets, from Goodwe Europe
  • High powered module trends, from LONGi,
  • Smart energy control devices, from Phoenix Contact

Along with the detailed presentations, webinar participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the presenters and take part in two interactive panel discussions.

Register for free to the extended webinar today and equip yourself with the knowledge needed to prosper in Europe’s new-look utility scale solar landscape.

Questions can be submitted beforehand or during the webinar through a chat window. Jonathan Gifford from pv magazine will be the moderator of this webinar.

Registration for this pv magazine Webinar is free of charge.
