The transition to larger modules is well underway, with estimations pointing to a market share of around 90% by the end of 2023. While the transition has mostly focused on large-scale projects, big modules have also started to make their way to the space-constrained rooftop segment. Mounting over two-meter-long modules on rooftops can be challenging and innovation in mounting structures and design software all have a role to play in bringing the benefits of big modules to the rooftop segment.

In this pv magazine Webinar, we will examine Clenergy’s new mounting structure for residential and commercial pitched roofs. Jason McCabe, senior product manager UK and EU at Clenergy will launch the SolarRoof Pro 2.0 and the company’s design software for rooftop installations. He will go through two case studies of tile and tin roof installations and explain how Clenergy’s new solution implements 3.6 meter long mounting rails with three fixing brackets. These features purportedly make the mounting structure more suitable for big modules than the competition’s 3 meter and 3.2 meter rails with two fixing points.

Can Kökten, vice president at Clenergy, will also join the discussion to give insights about Clenergy´s project development business in Germany. Additionally distribution partners  as well as local warehouses in EU and UK will be also discussed in this section.
