Solar farm inspections are crucial at every stage of a project’s life cycle, from initial siting to ongoing operations and maintenance. However, many issues discovered during later inspections could have been prevented with proper procedures and data collection earlier in the process. With the right data collection, and with tools that allow for detailed analysis and insights into large captures of data, an opportunity is created for a positive feedback loop that can significantly improve solar farm performance and longevity.

In this pv magazine Webinar, Zeitview’s team of experts, Chris Clay, senior director, geospatial service, Fan Zhang, technical associate, and Alfredo Spagnuolo, solar analyst, will detail an introduction to aerial inspections, while getting into the hands-on practical benefits that ongoing inspections can have for developers and owners, EPCs, operators, and maintenance specialists.

Gain practical insights into solar farm inspections, including common issues, the financial costs of poor inspections, best practices for various stages, and the benefits of leveraging new technologies and historical data.

pv magazine Webinar content:

  • The importance of commissioning inspections, including issues that could’ve been avoided,
  • The feedback loop in solar inspections,
  • The value of geospatial monitoring,
