The utility-scale solar industry is expecting much growth worldwide, creating a land use challenge. While flat desert areas are an obvious choice for solar, much land is available in parts of the world that have hilly and variable terrain. Terrain-following trackers can help with the land use challenge, by helping to put solar in place previously thought unsuitable for PV construction.

This software helps design large-scale PV systems that follow the landscape’s natural terrain by using all-terrain trackers from Nevados.
Brian Tang and Carl Jackson, application engineers at Nevados will join to describe the benefits of using PVcase software to design terrain-following layout.
