EWEC receives three bids for 1.5 GW solar park in Abu Dhabi

Emirates Water and Electricity Co. (EWEC) will review proposals from Engie, a consortium of EDF Renewables and Korean Western Power (Kowepo), and a consortium of Jinko Power and Jera for its fourth large-scale solar park in Abu Dhabi. EWEC plans to award a contract in the second quarter of 2025.

Engie starts building 250 MW of solar in Australia

Engie has started construction on the 250 MW Goorambat East solar farm in Victoria, Australia. It is the state’s largest solar project under construction and is expected to be operational by 2027.

Engie, Pele Green building 75 MW of solar in South Africa

Engie unit to build 60 minigrids in Zambia
