Enel and DIF invest $157 million in Australian solar project

The Italian power utility and the Dutch investment firm have agreed to acquire the first 137.5 MW of a 275 MW PV project under development in Australia. The second 137.5 MW project’s unit will be bought by the two companies later this year.

Enel plans to start solar cell production, announces developments for 34 MW in Zambia and 238 MW in Mexico

The Italian utility is laying the foundations for solar cell production at its PV panel manufacturing facility. The final goal of the project is 1 GW commercial cell production. Meanwhile, Enel Green Power has secured the PPA for a 34 MW PV facility in Zambia, and has broken ground on a 238 MW solar park in Mexico.

Enel breaks ground on 754 MW solar park in Mexico

The huge solar project was selected in the energy auction held by the Mexican government in 2016. The plant will be located in the state of Coahuila and will be connected to the grid in the second half of 2018.
