The El Romero Solar Plant in the Atacama Desert of Chile has been completed using 60 3.6 MW ABB inverter stations. Spanish developer Acciona constructed the solar farm and commissioned it last year.

Japan’s Eurus Energy has entered the Chilean solar market by purchasing 18 MW (AC) of operational PV capacity in the South American country from Spanish renewables developer Grenergy Renovables.
