The Armenian government has granted exemption from customs duties for the first time to local developer Investment Media Group. The measure is intended to support the implementation of the country’s $58 million solar program.

Armenia to build its first solar power plant
More than 40 companies have expressed interested in a tender for the construction of a 50 MW solar power plant in Armenia. The project is a part of a US$58 million program to boost renewable energy in the country.
