SunRise Arabia Clean Energy Conference 2025

SunRise Arabia Clean Energy Conference

February 19, 2025 | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The event is over.

Please find below the presentations, key takeaways, photos, and video.

Saudi Arabia continues to solidify its position as a global leader in the transition to sustainable energy. By 2024, the Kingdom added over 2.1 GW of renewable energy capacity, bringing the total to 2.8 GW – enough to power more than 520,000 homes. This aligns with its Vision 2030 goal of producing 130 GW of renewable energy, reflecting a substantial increase from earlier targets. New technologies, such as bifacial solar panels and cutting-edge storage systems, are enhancing efficiency and grid stability. Additionally, the government has invested heavily in energy storage and smart grids to address intermittency issues, ensuring a reliable energy supply.

This sets a strong foundation for discussions at the second edition of the SunRise Arabia Clean Energy Conference, co-organized by pv magazine and Solarabic on February 19, 2025.

The conference featured a full day of engaging presentations and panel discussions and included an evening Get-together Reception, providing a relaxed setting for networking and building connections within the solar energy community.
