Antonio Ruta, Senior Technical Service Manager Italy & Brazil, JinkoSolar

Since 2001, Antonio Ruta has always been in photovoltaic energy. Founding member of RED2002 Srl, then acquired by Phoenix Solar AG, in the position of technical director, he has developed projects of photovoltaic systems since the time before incentives, helping to promote the development of sustainable energies in Italy. He later held the role of Sales Manager Italy of Evergreen Solar and then of Canadian Solar. In 2011 he became head of the renewable energy department of the Alberta Group in Malta. In his role as Technical Service Manager Italy and Brazil, Antonio is the technical reference point, from supporting during sales and design to the management of any complaints; he coordinates the technical activities in both countries with the support and guidance of the technical department of the group based in Shanghai.

Emiliano Bellini, editor de la plataforma internacional, LatAm y México , pv magazine group

Co-moderating the Roundtable. Emiliano joined pv magazine in March 2017. He has been reporting on solar and renewable energy since 2009. Emiliano is responsible for the daily news coverage on pv-magazine.com with a particular focus on European market. Emiliano also covers new technology, R&D, installations and company financial reporting. In its previous experience as a journalist, Emiliano has written about EdTech and new language technologies.

Director of Greener, has been leading this technical and strategic consulting firm since 2007focused in supporting companies to become more competitive in the renewable energy sector. Rodrigo Pedroso, CEO, Pacto Energia

He has over 18 years of experience in the electricity sector in the areas of generation, transmission and marketing. Prior to founding the Company, he was an ANEEL - National Electric Energy Agency. Currently, besides being CEO of the Pacto Energia Group, he is also a member of the board of directors of ABSOLAR - Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy, and Director of the Energy Division of FIESP - Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo. Education: Civil Engineer by PUC-GO, Specialist in Project Management by FGV - Getúlio Vargas Foundation, in Hydroelectric Generation by PAPUC - Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, in Wind Generation by the DEWI Institute, in Energy Commercialization by Presbyterian University Mackenzie and currently a student of Harvard University, attending OPM 57 Unit 1 (Owner / President Management Program).

Juracy Monteiro, Director General, STEAG Energy Services do Brasil Ltda.

Juracy Monteiro has more that 32 years of professional experience, with experience in the Energy Market considering generation through renewable and conventional sources and transmission in South America, mainly in Brazil for more than 10 years. A leader of various M&A processes in the Energy Market, able to lead, structure, motivate, and develop teams. Experience in startup, merger, acquisition and sale of companies and business, as well as in financial structuring of projects and companies, including capital funding in Brazil and abroad. Experience in structuring and development of power generation projects using renewable sources, management and Follow-up of Budgets with values above US$ 500 million.

Camila Ramos, Vice President of Financing, of Brazilian Solar Association ABSOLAR

Renewable energy expert with 17 years of experience in Latin America in the solar PV, wind and bioenergy sectors. Founder and Managing Director of CELA – Clean Energy Latin America is São Paulo-based financial advisory firm supporting renewable energy companies and investors in Latin America. Specializes in renewable energy: wind, solar PV, bioenergy, small hydro and energy efficiency. Currently serves as Board Member at the Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (ABSOLAR).

Kaushik Roy Choudhury, Senior Scientist and Project Leader, DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials

Kaushik currently leads DuPont’s global PV field reliability program working on reliability and durability of PV packaging materials, degradation of polymeric materials in field-deployed PV modules, and PV system economics. At DuPont, he has previously led programs on metallization pastes for silicon photovoltaics, novel inorganic and hybrid thin-film solar absorbers, and light emitting and plasmonic nanomaterials. Kaushik has a Ph.D. in Materials Physics and has over 15 years of experience in photovoltaic and optoelectronic materials.

Willian Mass, Field Sales Engineer, Stäubli

Willian Mass has been working in the Energy/Photovoltaic sector since more than 10 years for Stäubli Electrical Connectors (formerly Multi-Contact), which is part of the Swiss family-owned Stäubli Group, a technology leader and pioneer in the fields of electrical and fluid connectors, robotics and textile machinery since its foundation in 1892. In 1996, Stäubli introduced the first industrial photovoltaic connector (MC3) followed by the original MC4 in 2002 setting the industry standard ever since. Today, more than 250 GW photovoltaic capacity has been successfully con¬nected with Stäubli photovoltaic con-nectors. As Field Sales Engineer, Willian is responsible for the Alternative Energies product-portfolio in Brazil and holds a B.A. in business from FEI in São Bernardo and he is concluding the MBA degree in Sales and Marketing at FGV.

Hongbin Fang, Ph.D. Director of Product Marketing and Technical Service, LONGi Solar

Hongbin Fang is Director of Product Marketing and Technical Service at LONGi Solar, a leading dedicated monocrystalline solar cell and module manufacturer. At LONGi Solar, his team is in charge of product and technology related support for all product offerings. Before joining LONGi in 2016, Hongbin was working at SunEdison for 5 years, where he has led the effort on solar wafer, cell and module integration, new technology and new supplier introduction into HVM manufacturing.
