Jérôme Guth, Solar Segment Leader, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products
After graduation in Metallurgical engineering, Jérôme Guth held several positions in the automotive segment of the group, in R&D, as a production manager of Electro galvanized steels, as a resident engineer and later as head of advanced automotive engineering at Arcelor, with the objective to introduce new steel grades for weight reduction at car manufacturers. In 2006, Jérôme moved to global headquarter in Luxembourg at the CEO office of Flat Product Europe.
After more than 15 years in automotive & corporate activities, he joined ArcelorMittal construction industry and was appointed in 2009 Managing Director of a profiling subsidiary of ArcelorMittal producing structural profiles for building & solar applications. In 2014, he headed the business development for the construction market, which included later the responsibility for our Metallic Coated steels Product portfolio, Magnelis® and the solar market developments.
Eric Lauer, Strategic Development Manager, Forming AG
After graduation in Metallography engineering, Eric Lauer held several positions in the automotive segment by MAGNA Automotive International, in Purchasing, Supply chain, as a Non-Automotive manager to develop the solar activity, with the objective to introduce an 100% steel solar Module Mounting Systems (MMS) for price reduction.
After 15 years in automotive & corporate activities, he joined in 2017 the Solar EPC (Engineering , Procurement , Construction) Greencells GmbH as head of MMS to develop his own MMS and won the MMS Design&Supply contract for the world’s largest solar power plant (in Abu Dhabi 1177MW) in partnership with Forming AG who produced and delivered all steel profiles.
In September 2018, he joined Forming AG to develop the international solar market with the objective to optimize the MMS steel profiles using HSS and new coating solution to improve lifetime.
