The base spans approximately 98.84 acres and is planned for the construction of 10GW N-type high-efficiency module production line, a 2GW photovoltaic cell production line, and supporting facilities. It is being built in two phases, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan in phase I covering 49.42 acres. A total of 3.18GW of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules were produced at the end of 2023. The annual output value is expected to exceed CNY 10 billion once both phases are completed and operational, making it the largest PV module manufacturing base in Central China.
Yong Liu, Chairman and President of DAS Solar, stated that the company has established decentralized manufacturing bases and leveraged local resources to establish a nationwide business. The successful implementation of the Jingshan project is expected to facilitate local economic development and enhance the industrial chain. The base has completed phases I and II within 20 months, and an annual production of 10GW N-type high-efficiency modules has begun full-scale production, further accelerating industry development.
Meanwhile, DAS Solar will promote the integration of upstream and downstream resources in the local PV industry, creating more opportunities for its sustainable development. The Jingshan Economic Development Zone and DAS Solar signed a strategic supply chain cooperation agreement during the event. In order to promote high-quality development of the PV industry, both parties will adhere to the principles of mutual benefit and joint development, partnering to establish a modern supply chain platform in Jingshan which connects globally.
DAS Solar has been dedicated to decentralized manufacturing in recent years, establishing production bases in East China, North China, South China, Northwest China, and Southwest China. By virtue of this strategy, production, delivery and services have been localized to provide customers with a more convenient and efficient experience. The Jingshan Base has been put into stable production in its phase I with an annual output value of CNY 3.5 billion, and an average output value of CNY 500 million per month. The base has become the first in Jingshan with an output value over CNY 3 billion, accelerating the integration of related industries, and developing the local RE industry cluster by fostering the mutual development of upstream industries such as glass and aluminum frames for modules.
