The expansion includes a push into new markets, including Japan, as well as the addition of several key positions to Targrays Solar Silicon team. Based in Fukuoka, Japan, Soichiro Yonetsu has joined Targray as Regional Manager to facilitate expansion plans and provide local support and representation in that region.
Other appointments include Steve Ghaleb as Global Sales Manager, and Jessica Lifshitz as Junior Product Manager. Both these positions are based at Targrays corporate headquarters in Montreal, Canada. Targray is a leading supplier of raw materials and cutting-edge products – including polysilicon chunk, chip or powder, ingot, wafers, solar cells and scrap silicon for remelt – to wafer, cell and module manufacturers in the PV industry.

Were therefore delighted by the addition of Yonetsu-san in Japan, a market where its imperative to have local presence and support in order to drive expansion. On the home front, Steves extensive and highly relevant distribution experience will play a key role in helping us increase our sales management capacity and execute our strategic plan.
Reporting to Alter, Steve Ghaleb and Soichiro Yonetsu are both seasoned sales executives with over 25 years of combined experience in the electronic components distribution field, and silicon recycling and trading, respectively. Ghaleb was previously Branch Manager for Eastern Canada at Electro Sonic Inc., and Yonetsu-san was President of Silfine Japan. Jessica Lifshitz will report to Brett Maclean, Commercial Manager, Silicon Products at Targray.
