Sunways AG is presenting new products and technological innovations at Intersolar Europe in Munich between 8 and 10 June. Highlights at the international flagship fair for the solar industry are Sunways Eco-Line Solar Modules with innovative P3 technology, a high-performance solar module for output classes from 260 watts peak, the Sunways in-roof system for complete roof solutions and the new Sunways storage solution for promoting private consumption. The Sunways stand also offers insight into solutions for building-integrated PV and the application of crystalline solar cells in a wide range of sizes, colours and shapes. ?
Sunways Solar Cells 18+ with Sunways P3 Technology
Sunways presents its latest generation of high-efficiency solar cells with P3 Technology, offering efficiencies of more than 18 percent and optimum output stability. The unique production process ensures top yields: A particularly strict wafer specification in conjunction with the Sunways processes in solar cell production prevents the LID effect, i.e. light-induced degradation of monocrystalline solar modules during the first operating days of a PV system. The Sunways P3 Technology is also able to suppress the PID effect, i.e. voltage-induced performance degradation of mono- and multicrystalline solar cells. This was validated in extensive tests in which the strictest test parameters in the industry were applied: minus 1,000 V relative to the module frame, 25 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and wet module surface.
In addition, Sunways P3 Technology stands for a particularly tight cell current graduation. Current classes of only 50 mA ensure low mismatch losses. Hence, monocrystalline Sunways Eco-Line Solar Modules also offer maximum output when connected to form a system and offer system operators significant higher yields through stable performance. For added peace of mind Sunways offers its customers a new, comprehensive 10-year product warranty for its solar modules. ?
Sunways in-roof system
With its new in-roof mounting system, including in-roof laminate, Sunways presents an integrated solution for safe, high-performance yet aesthetically pleasing energy roofs. At the core of the systems is a top-quality Sunways Solar Module with 48 monocrystalline solar cells in black design. Flexible dimensions enable optimal roof utilisation with the popular 3 kW systems. In conjunction with the new Sunways in-roof mounting system, it represents the first complete Sunways solution to replace conventional roof cladding while offering excellent visual integration. The in-roof laminate is available in output classes of 187.5 W, 190 W, 195 W and 200 W. In conjunction with the Sunways Solar Inverter NT 3000, Sunways thus offers the perfect kit for roof systems with the highest efficiency in the market. ?
Sunways high-performance solar module from 260 watts peak
Sunways extends its product range with a 60-cell high-performance solar module for output classes from 260 watts peak. With module efficiencies of more than 16 percent, the Sunways high-performance modules achieve top values in their output class. Monocrystalline full-square solar cells, anti-reflective module glass and a white film at the back for optimal temperature characteristics reduce efficiency losses, resulting in above-average performance per unit area and top yields. The Sunways high-performance solar module will be available from the fourth quarter of 2011. ?
Sunways storage solution for increased private consumption
At Intersolar Sunways AG presents a product concept for a storage solution that enables private consumption of PV electricity above the normal ratio of 20 to 40 percent. The solution is based on one or several 4.7 kWh Li-Ion storage modules with an integrated intelligent battery management system that can be integrated seamlessly into existing PV systems. Charging and discharging of the storage unit can be configured based on individual consumption profiles. The whole system and individual energy-consuming appliances such as hot water tank, washing machine or refrigerator can be controlled conveniently via a web browser on a wide ran
