SolarPower Europe and the Mexican solar association (ASOLMEX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore new business opportunities for solar companies in the European and Mexican solar markets.
“Mexico is an exciting market for solar and still far from reaching its full potential. We are delighted to start this cooperation with ASOLMEX, to exchange knowledge and best practices on both our continents’ experiences” said James Watson, CEO of SolarPower Europe.
Arturo Duhart, representative of ASOLMEX and Chair of the Distributed Solar Working Group added: “We are happy to work with SolarPower Europe to further promote solar in Mexico and Europe. One area of cooperation we have already identified is Operation and Maintenance, a segment our European friends have a lot of experience with and that we want to explore further.”
