U|S|E GmbH and Solar Frontier today announced a distribution and installation agreement, bringing together their solar energy solutions know-how and photovoltaics expertise.

The agreement marks another step forward in Solar Frontier’s European market expansion, with U|S|E selling and installing CIS modules manufactured at Solar Frontier’s cutting-edge gigawatt-scale production facility in Miyazaki, Japan. In close cooperation with the Solar Frontier sales and support team, U|S|E will install the CIS modules as part of its own photovoltaic projects, offer its customers turnkey solar facilities, and provide tailor-made installation solutions for trade partners with reliable supply and quality.

“U|S|E bases its business on high value-add partnerships,” said Arnold Berens, Managing Director of U|S|E GmbH. “We see this latest one as an excellent chance to integrate Solar Frontier’s CIS technology into economically and ecologically appealing solutions. As the market for solar energy plants continues to grow, we can expand our business in 2011 while assuring stable supply for our expansion with Solar Frontier’s gigawatt scale production capacity.”

“Solar Frontier is expanding at a very rapid pace and we will continue signing top-tier partners,” said Wolfgang Lange, Managing Director, Solar Frontier Europe. “U|S|E is renowned as a leading photovoltaics system integrator and as such is a very important addition to our partner portfolio in our growth-oriented European strategy. We are very much looking forward to a successful and extensive commercial relationship.”
