New developments for the 2024 show

Launch of the Innovation Awards: a competition highlighting exhibitors' innovations, new products and technical breakthroughs in response to the major challenges of transition.

Four prizes will be awarded in four new, cross-disciplinary categories:

  • International Award: for a project or solution with strong international development potential
  • Deployability Award: for a project providing quick and easy implementation
  • Ecosystem Award: for a project that has created a dynamic with local players and/or sectors
  • Circularity Award: for a project incorporating a circular economy component and/or leading to major advances in this area.

The Occitanie Pyrénées / Méditerranée Regional Authority will also be awarding its special Coup de Cœur (Judges' Pick) award to one of the 12 nominated projects.

Forum EnerGaïa exhibitors and co-exhibitors can submit their entries for the Innovation Awards up until the closing deadline of 6 September 2024. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 12 December at 12.30pm, following the nominees' pitch sessions with the jury in the morning.

Bolstered by its success and steadily growing attendance, the Forum is expanding this year: an additional 3,500 m² hall will be opened to continue to best represent the diversity of the renewable energy sector and promote innovation, know-how and business expertise.

EnerGaïa: the all-renewable event to accelerate the transition

More than 500 exhibitors are expected to attend, spread over five exhibition halls covering more than 24,000 m² and with four themed pavilions:

  • The Sustainable Building Pavilion, part of the French Sustainable Building Plan
  • The Employment and Training pavilion, in partnership with France Travail Hérault
  • The Derbi pavilion, an innovation accelerator serving the energy transition

  • The Cemater pavilion, a cluster responsible for structuring the renewable energy and sustainable construction sectors.

The extensive programme of almost 100 talks, round tables, workshops and pitches featuring expert speakers remains at the heart of the exhibition's strategy and unique positioning.

In 2023, Forum EnerGaïa welcomed 450 exhibitors and nearly 17,000 participants (+24% vs. 2023), consolidating its position as the premier all-renewable energy BtoB event.

EnerGaïa is more than just an exhibition: it is also:

  • The unmissable end-of-year business event
  • A solutions laboratory to help professionals in the sector, public players and local authorities take action to promote the energy transition
  • A growing community of experts who examine and analyse the profound changes taking place in our economy and put forward proposals.

This meeting is all the more essential given that the challenges of transition have never played such an important role in shaping the future of our economies, particularly with the European Union's target of carbon neutrality by 2050.
