Wholesale is a frequently overlooked link in the PV value chain dominated by investors, developers and installers. However, in the world of unstable prices and supply disruptions, wholesalers will play an instrumental role in managing these risks for other industry players – said R.Power's CEO Przemek Pięta. – Expanding into wholesale also plays into R.Power Group’s strengths, allowing us to better leverage our presence across EU, purchasing power and financing capabilities – he adds.
With sales to 10 EU countries and established direct relationships with top quality manufacturers like Jinko, Risen, SolarEdge, Sungrow, FoxESS and BAKS, Menlo Electric provides an excellent platform for R.Power Group to scale its wholesale business. The combined group will purchase more than 1 GWp of modules in 2022.
– In R.Power, we found a partner sharing our ambition to build a pan-European player. This year ca. 30% of our sales were outside of Poland. After joining R.Power Group, we want this proportion to grow to at least 60% – comments Marta Walendzewicz, Menlo Electric’s CFO.
