The installation, featuring 63 pieces of AIKO-A600-MAH72MW with a total capacity of 37.8 kWp, was provided by distributor Plug and Play and installed by Genkii. The system achieves a self-consumption ratio of up to 80% without battery storage, significantly reducing dependency on external power sources.
Camping San Vicente operates as an energy provider, selling electricity generated from its solar installation to visiting guests. By harnessing solar power, the campsite has lowered its electricity costs while increasing profitability from energy sales.
Despite a strong business model, the main challenge for this project was limited installation capacity, restricting the potential revenue increase from solar energy. Additionally, the campsite’s location near the coast exposes it to dust, sand, and harsh environmental conditions, where AIKO’s partial shading optimization capacity and low degradation rate ensures stable performance year after year.
Camping San Vicente selected AIKO’s N-Type ABC modules for their superior efficiency, space optimization, and long-term performance. According to Jorge Pérez Fuentes, Manager at Genkii, “AIKO's modules provided the highest power output in a compact format, which was essential given the installation constraints. Their advanced N-Type ABC technology ensures better energy yield and long-term reliability.”
From an end-user perspective, Natalie Graf, Manager at Camping San Vicente, shared that “Since installing AIKO’s modules, we have seen noticeable reductions in our electricity costs. This investment has strengthened our commitment to sustainable operations and greater energy autonomy. We have also achieved substantial cost savings, which contributed to securing quality certifications for our operations.”
As a global leader in the photovoltaic industry and the pioneer in BC technology mass production, AIKO continues to push the boundaries of solar efficiency, driving the transition to a zero-carbon society.
