Besides the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), Martifer Solar supplied all PV equipment and will also provide the Operation and Maintenance of the plant, which will be operated by Leonidas Associates IV GmbH & Co. KG, a German-based investment fund.
The PV plant construction, built in a hilly area featuring steep slopes, represented an engineering challenge for Martifer Solar team. A relevant workforce and special machinery was needed to prepare the land, but once more we were able to transform a challenge into a success and the plant was delivered on time and fully performing, has declared David Osório Mota, Martifer Solar France Country Manager.
The PV Plant will generate 3,050 MWh/year, supplying clean energy to approximately one thousand homes and avoiding the release of about 275 CO2 tons to the atmosphere.
Established in France since 2009, Martifer Solar has already implemented in the country more than 20 MW, both on ground and roof installations and its currently developing several photovoltaic projects for the French market.
