The partnership between Keno and LONGi dates back to 2018, and 2022 is seeing the extension of their framework agreement by 100 MW compared to 2021. This new agreement will enable KENO to reliably serve the fast-growing Polish solar market.

According to a study published by the Polish Renewable Energy Institute, Keno had a market share of over 50 percent of the Polish PV market in 2021, with more than 830 MW worth of solar modules sold. The high quality of LONGi modules has played a significant role in reaching this position.

Partnership to accelerate the energy transition

Together, Keno and LONGi are working towards accelerating the transformation of the energy sector to using clean energy. Their joint efforts include the “Full of Energy” campaign, which highlights the benefits of combining photovoltaics and electric mobility.

At the annual Keno Expo, a hybrid industry event that takes place both online and offline and has become one of the largest industry conferences of its kind in Poland, KENO and LONGi also regularly present new products and interesting facts about photovoltaics.

Stable supplier relationships in difficult times

Like many industries, the photovoltaic sector has had to deal with supply chain difficulties in recent years. LONGi has proven to be a reliable partner for Keno during this time. Thanks to the intensive cooperation between the two companies, installers in Poland can continue to count on modules from LONGi for years to come.

“We have faced many challenges in the last year. Thankfully, we were able to remain stable and even grow compared to the previous year,” adds Tomasz Marona, Business Development Director at Keno.
