The company, which is the leading PV operator in France (both in turnover and production), will showcase its PV innovations and turnkey solutions at the event. With 25 global subsidiaries and a 27 year history, Tenesol has the resources and experience to deliver advanced PV solutions as an EPC contractor and distribution partner to the UK’s expanding solar market.

Tenesol continues to expand globally and recently established new subsidiaries in the UK, Australia, Belgium, Greece and the US. Over 50 percent of the company’s turnover now comes from overseas markets. The UK subsidiary is about to start building its first turnkey project in England.

“Since the feed-in tariff was introduced in April last year, the UK has become one of the fastest growing solar markets in the world,” says Benoit Rolland, managing director of Tenesol. “The potential it holds for continued growth through numerous solar applications – residential, professional, utility-scale – is an exciting prospect. We look forward to showcasing our long-established history and knowledge of advanced PV systems for the first time at Eco Build.”

Tenesol works with businesses and private individuals to provide tailor-made PV systems that match almost any requirement and delivers optimum production. With experience in on-grid and off-grid applications and installations ranging from industrial rooftops and residential installations to ground-mounted systems, Tenesol delivers the service customers demand in markets across the globe.

Distributors

The company works with distributors to provide a wide range of advanced PV modules, which it manufactures at two production facilities located in Toulouse, France and Cape Town, South Africa. Tenesol can also provide complete PV kits, which contain all necessary materials to install a small rooftop system.

Architects

Tenesol works directly with architects to develop tailor-made PV systems such as glass roofs, façades, sunshades, canopies and unique one-off structures. To answer architect demands, the company recently launched the TE Lumex Design, a custom made dual-glass module that gives architects the freedom to create unique PV designs to suit specific project requirements (size of module, cell layout, coloured glass, etc.). Several options of the TE Lumex Design will be on display at Eco Build.

Eco Build is the world’s largest exhibition of sustainable design, construction and the built environment. More than 1,300 exhibitors will take part in the event, which is taking place between 1 to 3 March, 2011.

Tenesol will have a 40 m2 booth located at Stand S1767. A selection of senior personnel will be on hand to welcome visitors and discuss residential, turnkey and distribution services.
