For even better customer service throughout the whole of Asia, the Krempel-Group officially opened its new solar materials factory in China on 15 May: Since the beginning of 2012, Krempel Solar Material (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. (KSM) has been supplying PV backsheet laminates consisting of high-quality materials, made in Germany in accordance with demanding Krempel standards.
The opening of the solar materials factor in the Zhangjiagang free trade zone in the east of the People's Republic makes it possible for Krempel to generate even more advantages for customers not only in China but in the whole of Asia as well. They now profit from the ability to order flexible quantities at short notice with considerably reduced delivery times and a constantly high-level of quality.
As a hundred-percent subsidiary of Krempel, the company processes and prefabricates only high-quality materials made in Germany. The local technical and commercial customer-service facilities, which work hand-in-hand with new personnel, ensure in-depth application consulting and speedy quotation.
"Supporting manufacturers of solar modules with ‘made in Germany' quality is what we see as our mission," said Uwe Assmuth, member of the Krempel-Group management team, during the opening celebrations for the new company. "In China, our sales locations have already been successfully pursuing this mission for 12 years."
In this time, Krempel has established itself as a quality supplier for Asiatic solar module manufacturers. Klaus Bernhardt, head of the solar materials business unit at Krempel, explained the reasons for this to the approximately 180 invited guests: "With over 20 years of practical experience, our group is among the pioneers in the area of solar materials." The official opening was simultaneously the starting signal for the establishment of further Krempel sales locations in China.
