“Over the last few years, the market for photovoltaics in Sweden has developed so well that we are planning to enter the market with our own team locally,” says Kurt Krannich. “For this reason, as an initial step we are looking for a Country Sales Manager. The second step on the agenda will be setting up a sales office.”

The Swedish development marks a further expansion in the photovoltaic wholesaler’s activities in Northern Europe. By setting up a regional sales team, the German PV specialist wants to meet the needs of a growing customer base and provide customer service on the spot.

“With our offers and our range of services we want to drive a further rapid increase in our existing client base of installers,” says Jens Ullrich, Director International Business at Krannich Solar. “The support the local sales team receives from the headquarters in Germany will help to build up our activities in all business areas”.

In 2016 Sweden was one of the Top 10 countries in Europe for newly-installed PV capacity. The government is forcing especially the expansion of small solar energy projects, and in 2017 made some provisions to facilitate the installation of PV systems by private households and enterprises for their own energy supply. From the viewpoint of PV wholesalers, these are the right conditions for their field of business.
