The Project was awarded through a competitive bidding conducted by OPWP in September, 2022 where Jinko Power participated along with its consortium partner Sembcorp Utilities. The project shall benefit from a 20 year power purchase agreement with OPWP and is expected to be operational by 2025.
Jinko Power had participated in the request for qualification stage for the Project in 2019. In 2022, Jinko Power invited Sembcorp Utilities to form a consortium to jointly bid for the Project. The Project shall be owned 20% by Jinko Power and 80% Sembcorp Utilities.
