The project, which spans a surface of 10 hectares, features the installation of 10.7 MWp of Jinko’s cutting-edge Tiger Neo Series solar modules and 17.2 MWh of SunTera Energy Storage Systems. Together, these advanced technologies are expected to generate an impressive 15,000 MWh of electricity annually – equivalent to supplying clean, reliable energy to over 5,000 households. Additionally, this initiative plays a crucial role in the country’s energy transition by preventing the consumption of more than 2 million liters of fossil fuels.

Jinko ESS’s SunTera systems come with incredible reliability and C5 corrosion resistance to suit the offshore conditions and weather in Tahiti. This ensures consistency and is highly durable for the system.

“We are honoured to contribute to Tahiti’s renewable energy goals through this pioneering PV+ESS project,” said Roberto Murgioni, Head of Jinko ESS EU. “This accomplishment demonstrates our unwavering commitment to delivering innovative and impactful renewable energy solutions worldwide.”

This project not only highlights Jinko’s technological leadership in the global energy sector but also underscores the company’s dedication to empowering communities through PV+ESS sustainable energy solutions.
