One SunGiga was installed in Villena, one in Aguilas and three in Alicante. The installations were done by Cubierta Solar and the commissioning by Jinko ESS, with a close collaboration between both companies. The Spanish project marks a major step forward for energy self-consumption optimization, showcasing the innovative use for Jinko’s SunGiga All-in-One 215 kWh battery system in the C& I business.
“By forging a strategic partnership in Spain with Cubierta Solar, Jinko ESS is taking a significant step forward in our ambitious growth plans in one of Europe's largest renewables markets. This project plays a significant role in supporting Spain and the wider EU in meeting their net-zero ambitions, as battery energy storage is a pivotal component in maximizing the potential of renewable energy “said Roberto Murgioni, Head of ESS Europe at Jinko.
“This installation at Manufacturas Seher is a prime example of how cutting-edge energy storage can transform industrial operations. By enabling greater self-consumption of renewable energy, we’re helping businesses to lead the way toward a more sustainable, cost-efficient future.” Said Sales Manager Emilio Trinidad from Cubierta Solar.
