Intersolar 2011: aleo solar presents new all-black modules and passes the salt mist test

The premium module combines a particularly striking appearance with elegant design and high output: by utilising black monocrystalline cells, black frames and black backing sheets, aleo solar has developed a module that integrates harmoniously into any roof surface.

"aleo solar is using monocrystalline black high-performance cells for the new S_79

and S_79 Solrif module types, which means that the modules will have a rated output of up to 245 watts and an efficiency rating of up to 15.0 percent. Mechanical stability for the solar modules is provided by a 50 mm-wide black anodised frame, constructed from a corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy.

"As with all aleo solar modules, the frames are precision snap-fitted and not screwed. This makes the module more stable and ensures visual matching down to the last detail," explains Jens Sabotke, Chief Technical and Development Officer of aleo solar AG.

The new module types will be available not only in Europe but also in Asia and

Australia, and the S_79 modules will also be distributed in North America. The

modules are certified to IEC/EN 61215 and IEC/EN 61730, as well as UL 1703 and

ULC/ORD-C1703-01 (USA and Canada).

In addition, aleo solar AG also offers a new module from avim that is specially

designed to meet the requirements of large-scale projects. avim solar production Co. Ltd. in Gaomi, China is a joint venture of aleo solar AG and the manufacturer of the new avim A_18. The modules manufactured by the joint venture are offered at special terms.

The new aleo module S_18 has also passed the salt mist test from TÜV Rheinland.

This certificate confirms that modules from aleo solar can satisfy stringent quality

requirements even in the salt-laden air found in coastal regions.
