“Our BIPV products have been developed to meet the requirements of new European regulations and the specific needs of local markets,” said Sébastien Bordonné, Head of Europe BIPV at GoodWe. “The positive response from visitors to Intersolar confirms that we are on the right track.”

Indeed, GoodWe's three products were particularly appreciated for their ability to respond to the crucial issues facing the photovoltaic sector. Firstly, the Galaxy panel impressed visitors with its ultra-light design, enabling fast installation without any roof penetration. Its frameless structure allows for easy integration while guaranteeing optimum energy performance. Unlike competitor flexible panels that have no glass on top, the Galaxy panel is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions such as heavy snow and hail, avoiding the problems of micro-cracking and hot spots after a few years of installation. What's more, its frameless design prevents dirt and dust from accumulating, ensuring high efficiency for up to 30 years, which has been well accepted by customers.

Alongside it, the Polaris solar carport attracted attention thanks to its waterproof, weatherproof structure, designed for fast, reliable installation. The display of a full-size solar carport, including the Polaris panel and its structure, was one of the highlights of the GoodWe stand, generating a great deal of interest and lively discussion.

The Suncake panel was praised for its flexibility and adaptability. This plug and play system is perfect for all outdoor spaces, with its anti-reflective glass and adjustable angles making it easy to integrate into a variety of environments. These products not only lived up to visitors' expectations, but also demonstrated their ability to solve crucial problems in the photovoltaic sector.

The event was also marked by the signing of a major distribution partnership with Energy Depot, a Swiss company specialising in the integration and distribution of photovoltaic storage systems. This strategic partnership positions Energy Depot as the main distributor of GoodWe's BIPV products in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Energy Depot will focus on promoting and marketing GoodWe's BIPV products for a variety of combined photovoltaic applications.

This year, Intersolar set a new record with over 3,000 exhibitors from 55 countries and around 110,000 visitors from 176 countries, making it the largest and most international event in Intersolar's history. GoodWe is proud to have participated in this exceptional event and to contribute to the innovation and development of the photovoltaic sector.
