German originated inverter manufacturer Sunways today unveiled STS-7~11KTL, a new single-phase inverter solution for residential power plants in Brazil, Australia, and the Philippines markets. This series includes STS-7KTL, STS-8KTL, STS-9KTL, STS-10KTL and STS-11KTL 5 models and features a Max efficiency of 98.1% and a European efficiency of 97.6%.
STS-7~11KTL comes with three PV inputs divided into two MPPT while its PV input voltage range is from 80 ~600V enabling up to 150% PV overloading. Its maximum PV input current is up to 13.5A and offering compatibility with mainstream 540W PV panels. Dual MPPT tracking with a wide voltage range from 80~550V provides highly precise tracking and high operational efficiency. Two MPPT trackers essentially allow the inverter to treat the PV as two separate systems, ensuring higher versatility, better efficiency and more effective space use.
Sunways STS-7~11KTL integrated various best-in-class components including IGBT from Infineon, DSP from Texas Instruments, and ARM chip from STMicroelectronics. On the structure design, after repeated thermal simulation analysis and finally controlled the operating temperature of the main components at a low level with about 5 to 10 degrees Celsius less than other similar products, which ensures longer service life and better reliability. On the software control, it integrated including advanced MPPT control, stable grid-connection control, and perfect safety configuration a series of control modules, allowing dynamic tracking of solar power despite variation of intensity to maximize yield and providing multiple expandable interfaces to support WiFi, GPRS, LAN, 4G, RS485, and Bluetooth communication.
Multiple in-built protection mechanisms -DC and AC surge, anti-island, short circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection, as well as reverse polarity protection, with ground fault and grid monitoring features further guarantee stable performance and safe operation.
Inverter and WiFi dongle shells are made from a whole die-casting molding structure preventing any water or moisture entry and coated with special anti-corrosion spray ensuring safe outdoor use.
Conveniently wide operating temperature range-from minus 30 to plus 60 degrees Celsius, allowing to use in both low and high environments, including deserts where temperature quickly changes from heat during the day to cold at night.
STS-7~11KTL series features various intelligent control and monitoring functions, including remote upgrade and configuration, device and array fault detection, breakpoint data retransmission, etc. which can rapidly solve majority problems and reduce the cost and save time.
