The two Austrian companies are internationally aligned and are seeking in particular to strengthen their cooperation in the areas of procurement, manufacturing and quality management as well as in research and development. By acquiring a stake in go-e, Fronius is combining its high-quality standards and many years of industry expertise with the innovative power of a dynamically operating scale-up.

The e-mobility products resulting from the partnership will meet the high-quality standards that Fronius customers have come to expect. With the innovative new solutions made in Austria – which place a strong focus on sustainability – e-mobility will be made not only greener but also more functional. This way Fronius can ensure that as much solar energy as possible is used in the future in mobility – in line with the vision of 24 hours of sun that Fronius is already successfully turning into reality.

The company and brand go-e remains autonomous and independent with its own product lines, sales and service. Fronius e-mobility products like the Fronius Wattpilot are manufactured at go-e in Austria. Value creation in Europe is especially important to both companies, not least because of the resulting positive sustainability effects that particularly benefit their customers.

The Austrian go-e GmbH is an internationally active manufacturer of intelligent AC charging stations for electric cars. The company was founded in 2015 as part of a Kickstarter project and introduced the go-eCharger in 2017, the world's first smart wallbox for charging electric cars that can also be used on the move. Since then, the medium-sized company has dedicated itself to the development of innovative solutions for e-mobility, in combination with inspiration for sustainable thinking and action.
