AlsoEnergy, a Stem (NYSE: STEM) company and a leading edge-to-cloud clean energy optimization solutions provider, announced today that EXTOR, a Hungarian engineering, procurement, and construction provider (EPC) for complete power supply systems, has finalized the installation and commissioning of two utility-scale solar projects totaling 110-megawatt peak (MWp) in Eastern Hungary using AlsoEnergy’s monitoring and optimization solution. With this collaboration between AlsoEnergy and EXTOR, AlsoEnergy strengthens its position in the Eastern European region.

For the two utility installations, EXTOR is leveraging AlsoEnergy’s vertically-integrated optimization solution, which includes PowerTrack, PowerManager Control Solutions (PMCS) for power plant control and data acquisition, plus onsite weather sensors that provide direct access to actual site conditions, to meet the demanding utility-grade monitoring and control requirements. Providing high-quality analytics of onsite conditions and remote-control functionality, PowerTrack enables EXTOR’s O&M team to make intelligent decisions for improved energy and financial performance.

“Thanks to AlsoEnergy, we were able to install and commission this challenging project in six weeks while staying under budget,” stated Balázs Gál, Managing Director of EXTOR Elektronikai Kft. “This was not only due to the convenience and efficiency of working with a single solution provider for all of our edge-to-cloud optimization needs but also thanks to the company’s dedicated professional services that provided us with a tailored solution to meet complex technical requirements.”

“Our relationship with EXTOR is representative of our international strategy to provide solar EPCs and other energy stakeholders added value and support their success,” stated Gorka Parada, Head of AlsoEnergy GmbH Sales EMEA. “Our edge-to-cloud clean energy optimization solutions, combined with our professional services, provide the convenience and security of a single-source provider throughout the project lifecycle.”

AlsoEnergy’s in-house experts in design, engineering, commissioning, and operations are providing EXTOR with SCADA system design, PPC configuration, project management, and remote commissioning support for a fast installation, quick interconnection, and plant performance maximization. In addition, its dedicated engineering team helped to accelerate asset onboarding onto PowerTrack to decrease time to data.
