In line with Austria's ambitious goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2040, hosting the EU PVSEC highlights the central role of photovoltaics in reaching this task. Austria is aware of the importance of using solar energy through photovoltaic technology as a key measure to reduce CO2 emissions. In support of this initiative, various measures were implemented to accelerate the adoption of photovoltaics in the country via the Austrian Technology Platform Photovoltaics and other local institutions. As the largest international conference for photovoltaic research, technologies, and applications, the EU PVSEC continues to be a key event for shaping the future of solar energy.
