It is understood that the Lianyungang Phase II project covers an area of 159 acres and a total construction area of 80,000 square meters. It has introduced more than 100 sets of advanced equipment and intelligent assembly lines. The designed annual production capacity reaches 5GW, and all the modules to be produced are DMEGC Infinity N-type high-efficiency components. In the Top Solar Modules Listing of TaiyangNews, the Infinity series modules have been leading in efficiency among similar N-type modules for many consecutive months, reflecting the company’s strong technological strength.
The Lianyungang Phase II factory has introduced advanced systems and equipment such as 5G industrial Internet, smart factory brain, and AI smart security, achieving the automation and digitalization of the entire production process. The factory brain and dispatching system use 5G technology to achieve precise control of the production rhythm, which has been increased from the original 16S to 14S, greatly improving production efficiency. Compared with the first phase project, the automation equipment has been upgraded again, saving about 10 people on each assembly line, further reducing processing costs.
In addition to the leading technology and efficiency, the DMEGC Lianyungang base has also set a benchmark for photovoltaic production in terms of green and low carbon. The factory integrates energy conservation and emission reduction into all aspects of operation, improving energy efficiency, using clean energy and recycling, effectively reducing carbon emissions. Recently, the factory has achieved 100% green energy production and obtained the first ISO 14068 Carbon Neutrality Certificate for the photovoltaic industry issued by TÜV SÜD, becoming a true “Carbon Neutral Factory”.
It is reported that DMEGC Solar has built six major production bases globally, and will reach an annual production capacity of 23GW of cells and 21GW of modules within the year. In the first half of 2024, DMEGC once again entered the top ten in module shipments, with cumulative global shipments exceeding 45GW.
