DKSHs Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading specialty chemicals distributor, has nominated Mathias Greger as head of their North American operation. Greger has been working with the Swiss-based Market Expansion Services Group over the past years already, leading the in-house consulting team in Kuala Lumpur.
Prior to joining DKSH, he had worked for the chemicals division of Mitsui & Co., being in charge for sales and business development in Central and Eastern Europe.
In his new role, Greger will focus on overall growth activities in the North American market by acquiring new suppliers, strengthening relationships with key suppliers, and expanding the customer base in the specialty chemicals and personal care industries.
The Group has recently concluded some supply deals with major U.S. companies. Thanks to its comprehensive network in Asia as well as global relationships, it is the perfect partner for other major U.S. firms looking to expand their business.
DKSH North America is headquartered in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. Besides marketing and sales offices, the company there also runs a dedicated application and formulation laboratory to support the personal care business with formulation development, innovative applications, and new technology evaluations.
