DEGERenergie is strengthening its worldwide market position

Michael Heck, the new vice president of Marketing and Sales at DEGERenergie, brings many years of experience in marketing, product development, human resources management and developing sales organizations to his new function. Before joining DEGERenergie, he was responsible for human resources, business development, development, product management and international sales as a senior manager of an IT company. Before this, he had worked for many years in senior management positions in the IT business, among others at Hewlett-Packard, as product marketing manager for multifunctional products and document management software in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The tasks of Michael Heck at DEGERenergie will include the structuring and adjustment of the expanding company to changing market conditions due to the branch finally “growing up”. In particular, this involves strategic cooperation with the management with respect to the future orientation and commitment of DEGERenergie in different countries and regions of the world.

Gerhard Ginter, the new area sales manager for Canada, USA, Spain and Greece, is a trained toolmaker and certified export economist. He worked for many years in senior positions in the fields of technology, sales, product and corporate development for an international manufacturer in the sanitary sector. There, he set up the distribution branch in Finland, looked after the subsidiaries in Scandinavia and implemented practice-oriented solutions for customers abroad. Gerhard Ginter has also worked for spells in the Baltic states, the UK, Italy, Australia, Brazil, Russia, the USA, Japan and China.

“This work entails a far-reaching intercultural tolerance. This tolerance and openness is in my experience an essential factor in the international success of a company. My studies to become a certified export economist at the Export Academy Baden-Württemberg, in conjunction with accumulated expertise in technology and sales is, in my opinion, the optimum precondition for working as Area Sales Manager for DEGERenergie and for its customers.”

At DEGERenergie, Gerhard Ginter is responsible for installing the organizational structure of the international branches in Canada, USA, Spain and Greece, and is also responsible for setting up production capacities abroad.
