DecarbXpo presents a unique range of climate protection tech for businesses

“In order to advance climate protection in industry and commerce, decarbXpo is taking a new approach: instead of focusing on a single industry, we are exhibiting a huge range of solutions for companies from many sectors. Decision-makers will find the right ideas as well as solutions for reducing both energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions at their production and commercial sites,” says Malte Seifert, Director of decarbXpo at Messe Düsseldorf.

The topics covered at the trade show and in the forums include energy storage, industrial heating, energy management, hydrogen, analysis and evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions, carbon capture, circular economy, and many more.

In addition to established technology offers and service providers from the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and energy industries, more than 20 international start-ups will present their solutions at the show and in the two forums in Hall 9.

Visitors to decarbXpo and the leading trade fair glasstec, taking place at the same time, can attend both trade fairs with a single ticket, without an additional charge. Tickets for decarbXpo are available at www.decarbXpo.com.

R&D meets practice in the Conference Program

The three trade conferences taking place parallel to decarbXpo will go into technical detail on the core topics of energy storage, hydrogen, and “green” metals.

For 15 years now, EUROSOLAR's international IRES conference has had a clear focus: research and development related to the storage of renewable energies. Through more than 150 presentations, experts from the scientific, practical, political, and civic communities will share new knowledge and experience in energy storage. Select keynotes will also address the legal framework, markets, and financial aspects of the field. The three-day conference will start on Sept. 20 in Forum 1 of Hall 9, with subsequent days taking place in Hall 8b. Tickets and the conference program can be viewed at: https://www.eurosolar.de/en/ires-program-2/

ecoMetals Day, on Sept. 21 (CCD East), is the international trade conference on the green transformation of the steel and metals industry. More than 25 Green Steel, Green Energy and Circular Economy pioneers from the industry, associations, the scientific sphere and politics will present high-level lectures and panel discussions. They will illustrate why decarbonization of the steel and iron industry is necessarily a joint task that can only be solved in close cooperation with the energy and digital industries. The conference program and tickets are available at: https://stahl-punkt.de/veranstaltungen/neu-ecometals-day-2022/. The conference language is German.

The #P2X Conference of the VDMA Power-to-X for Applications, on 19 and 20.9 (CCD East), revolves around the topics of hydrogen electrolysis, syntheses for eFuels, and power-to-liquid products such as ammonia and methanol. In addition, the conference will address applications in heavy-duty transport, e.g. shipping and aviation, in the process industries of steel and chemicals, as well as safety-related issues and the technical-economic evaluation of entire supply chains and their business cases in a national and international context. Across these topics, the conference will highlight industrial and practical relevance, with concrete projects representing a central focus. Tickets as well as information on the program of the #P2X Conference are available here: https://www.p2xconference.com/.
