In partnership with EUROSOLAR Georgia and Innovation Energy, the installation not only underscores the company's technological leadership but also reflects the growing momentum for solar penetration across Central Asia. As a testament to DAS Solar's commitment to driving the global clean transition, the project addresses both immediate local energy demands and the broader vision of sustainable development in the region.

Uzbekistan’s climate is highly favorable for solar energy development, with solar irradiance levels of 5.5 to 6.0 kWh/m²per day according to the IEA. The country’s dry, sunny weather and vast, flat land provide ideal conditions for large-scale solar power plants, making Uzbekistan one of the top regions for solar energy generation in Central Asia. With government support and minimal weather-related disruptions, the country is well-positioned to harness significant solar energy potential. Meanwhile, under the government's 2025 “Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy” initiative, the country is emphasizing large-scale renewable energy projects to accelerate its transition to a green economy. DAS Solar's ability to deliver tailored solar solutions positions the company as a key enabler of this national agenda, aligning seamlessly with Uzbekistan's ambition for a cleaner future.

Spanning an area of 2 hectares, the plant was completed in just four months, showcasing the efficiency and speed of modern renewable energy project execution. The installation is designed to meet a substantial portion of the industrial facility's daytime energy requirements while channeling surplus energy into the local grid. This dual functionality strengthens regional energy independence and reduces reliance on traditional fossil fuels. At the heart of this success are DAS Solar's high-efficiency N-type modules. With Uzbekistan’s predominantly dry climate, high levels of solar irradiance, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, the region demands modules that ensure stable power performance and outstanding reliability. The N-type TOPCon technology excels in these scenarios, offering a lower temperature coefficient for sustained energy output even under intense heat. Additionally, the modules boast superior resistance to PID, ensuring long-term performance and durability. Their bifacial design further maximizes power generation by utilizing reflected light, a key advantage in Uzbekistan’s arid landscapes, where surfaces like sand and stone amplify sunlight reflection.

The success of this project also indicates the importance of collaboration. By partnering with regional leaders such as EUROSOLAR Georgia and Innovation Energy, DAS Solar demonstrates the strength of its global R&D resources and decentralized manufacturing strategy. Serving as the commercial arm of EUROSOLAR Georgia, the operations of Innovation Energy covers Germany, Switzerland, Georgia, and Uzbekistan, actively working to promote renewable energy solutions. These partnerships not only ensure seamless project execution but also highlight DAS Solar's commitment to leveraging local expertise while delivering global innovation.

DAS Solar's mission to advance solar technology and support the global transition to renewable energy continues to gain momentum. With its production capacity reaching 30GW respectively for cells and modules in 2023, the company has established itself as a leader in providing high-performance modules for diverse scenarios. From residential rooftops to large-scale industrial facilities, DAS Solar's solutions reflect the company's dedication to maximizing the potential of renewable energy for economic and environmental benefits.

As Uzbekistan ushers in a new era of clean energy, this project in Bukhara serves as a benchmark for future solar energy initiatives across the region. With its advanced technology, environmental commitment, and collaborative spirit, DAS Solar continues to light the path toward a sustainable global energy landscape.
