Certified by RETC! Astronergy ASTRO N7 achieves <2% degradation in UVID220 Test

Share

During the test, ASTRO N7 n-type TOPCon PV modules were exposed to UV220 (220 kWh/㎡) radiation levels, 15 times tougher than that of UVID15 standard test. Under such ultra-harsh conditions, ASTRO N7 showcases a degradation rate of lower than 2%, setting a benchmark for module durability and performance.

Before the test, all ASTRO N Series module products had successfully passed many UVID performance tests and obtained excellent test results. For instance, when being exposed to a radiation level of UV60 (60 kWh/㎡), the degradation rate of ASTRO N Series PV modules is only 0.7%. Under the harsh conditions of UV120 (120 kWh/㎡), the degradation is only 1.2%.

The excellent UVID resistance comes from Astronergy’s innovative solutions and engineering improvement.

In terms of the cell layer structure design, Astronergy adopts industry-leading innovative thin film deposition technology to precisely control the uniformity and denseness of the passivation layer. Combined with LIF technology, this design will enhance the UVID resistance of the coating and better address the UVID challenges from the root. Additionally, Astronergy’s PV modules feature a more reliable adhesive film encapsulation solution, further reducing the risk of degradation.

The company also ensures the highest reliability standards through a rigorous quality inspection process. From raw material inspection to final product sampling, 100% AI testing is used in every step of production, guaranteeing excellence at every stage.

Astronergy is always dedicated to offering reliable module products with remarkable performance. With a strong commitment to technological innovation, the company will continuously push the boundaries of solar technology to enhance the overall performance and durability of ASTRO N Series PV modules and provide more efficient solutions for customers.
