Axiros today announced plans to exhibit at European Utility Week, being held from October 15-17 at the Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam. Axiros can be found in Hall 1, booth A59.
The advanced service and device management company has been expanding into utilities, delivering turnkey solutions in smart metering.
This year the company signed a deal with the Lyse Group in southwestern Norway whereby Lyse is leveraging Axiros' Axperience suite to power its smart energy initiative, Lyse Smart AS.
At European Utility Week, Axiros will partner with two proven leaders in smart grid technology: EFR and Brinck.
Based in Germany, EFR manufactures smart metering and smart grid components and its Smart Grid Hub is a communication gateway for electronic meters and, when paired with an EasyMeter, meets the requirements set by the European Commission for smart metering systems.
Brinck Group, of the Netherlands, offers a variety of services and solutions for the energy and water markets in conventional measurement and control and smart-metering systems.
Together the companies will demonstrate how the Axiros solution platform can be used to manage and provision an EFR smart grid.
Specifically, they will show how to integrate processes and data; improve sampling and expand data options for load research; forecast more accurately to improve power buying and selling decisions; and process data in real-time.
Additional benefits include asset optimization, workforce management and intelligent demand response.
Axiros CEO Kurt Peterhans said the opportunity to see the EFR smart grid and all its components in action is significant.
