It can be screwed through the metal roof tiles into the rafters below with two wood screws. The roof hook can be moved on the pantile, allowing it to be optimally positioned above the rafter.
Suitable for all batten heights
A suspended support base transfers the forces of the roof hook into the rafter. Thanks to its stepped interlocking system, one can adjust the support base to the height of the roof batten without needing any tools. “Our system works for all batten heights on pitched roofs, so there is no need to use different roof hooks”, says Christian Ganahl, CTO at Aerocompact, explaining the advantages of the mounting solution. The load is applied to the substructure in the shortest possible path, thus enabling maximum stability.
No need to process the roof tiles
“With the help of our XM-P roof hook system, several work steps can be saved during installation”, is how Christian Ganahl explains another advantage. Installers do not need, for example, angle grinders to process or prepare the tiles on the roof because Aerocompact can provide stainless steel replacement roof tiles made of sheet metal for almost all standard roof tiles on the market. Thanks to their high fitting accuracy, these tiles can be connected exactly to the neighbouring roof tiles.
The roof hook can be easily connected to Aerocompact's X40/X50 mounting rails. The solar modules are attached with the click clamp, which has an integrated earthing pin. If all system components are used, the roof hook system is CE certified. Aerocompact has stored the data for its new hook system in the planning and engineering software AeroTool. The company provides a 25-year warranty.
