In the past few months, the company has opened a series of PV power plants on roofs of 15 Slovenian primary schools. Cooperation with different municipalities has proved to be effective and will continue in the upcoming year.
In most cases, Bisol hired and renovated appropriate roof areas and thus quickly took care of problems with old roofs that many public buildings have. Principals of all 15 primary schools emphasize the ecological impact and increased environmental awareness among pupils.
Yesterday the opening ceremony took place in Prebold, small town where Bisol is headquartered. According to estimations, the 217 kW PV system will annually produce 239 MWh. The power plant will be able to supply with electricity 60 houses in the vicinity and will save more than 143 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
At every opening Bisol organized a lecture during which the most important questions about investment in PV system were answered. The company stresses the importance of the message to the younger generations that every solar power plant on a primary school gives. Environmental awareness and the importance of using renewable energy sources are the concepts Bisol wishes to impart on the young.
