Thirteen of the plants, worth 20.5 MW, are located in Italys Puglia region. This is split up into 19.5 MW installed in the Taranto province and one MW in the province of Bari. The three remaining photovoltaic projects, worth three MW, were installed in Marche.
9Ren states that the 16 plants are expected to generate around 32 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, which it says is enough to meet the energy needs of over 12,000 families.
The company adds that it has 38 photovoltaic plants in operation, both in Italy (32) and Spain (six), with a combined installed capacity of 68.6 MW. Currently, it is involved in the construction of around another 24 MW worth of plants. They are mainly located in Italy.
