The project, installed atop the Weidenhammer Packaging Group’s newly constructed manufacturing building, was both initiated and led by Athos Solar.

It is comprised of 2,021 Yingli photovoltaic modules, and utilizes the Goldbeck developed substructure.

A spokesperson told pv magazine that the system took around 20 days to install, and occurred concurrently with construction of Weidenhammer's building.

"For obvious reasons," he explianed, "the construction tasks were phased to align with progress of the building itself. For example, we installed the brackets, waited for the rooftop to be complete, then began with panel installation."
