Dr. Hongjie Hu is a Technical Leader and Market Development Manager for DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials in China. In this role, he is involved in developing solar panel backsheet applications, leading reliability studies and building up the national and industrial code & standards to support greater durability and lower LCOE for solar panels. He has conducted extensive research on PV materials and technologies, international and local PV Code & Standards, and failure models and mechanisms of solar panel materials. He initiated field studies of large-scale solar farms in China and conducted comparison study with lab accelerated aging tests to evaluate long-term materials performance. He graduated from the Chinese Academy of Sciences with Ph. D. in Materials Science and then joined DuPont in 2011 as Research Scientist. He is based in Shanghai.
XIAO Fuqin

XIAO Fuqin is the pioneer of large floating PV power plant. He leads the design and integration of two large floating PV power plants in domestic. Meanwhile, he designs various floating products which in terms of the product development and owns more than 20 patents in floating PV power plant filed.

Sebastian Petretschek holds a degree in Technology Management from the University of Stuttgart, Germany and has spent parts of his studies at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Sebastian has been active in solar photovoltaic business since 2009 and has been acting as Independent Engineer for investors, lenders and insurances in Europe, South America, Middle East, South Africa, India and various countries in Asia including Japan, China, Thailand and others. He has conducted numerous technical due diligence reviews – including yield as well as EPC and O&M contract assessments – and has performed construction and operation monitoring services.Further, Sebastian is a specialist for quality assurance along the value chain of PV components, particularly PV modules. Sebastian is heading TÜV Rheinland’s PV Power Plant business in Asia and is the Director of the Global Technical Competence Center for PV Power Plants.
