Quality of PV systems and battery storage
Plan, install and operate PV systems correctly
The photovoltaic market is booming in Germany. The demand for solar systems with and without power storage is increasing due to the climate crisis and energy shortages as well as the increasing profitability of PV systems. At the same time, however, the solar industry is struggling with a shortage of skilled workers and supply bottlenecks, especially in the inverter sector.
Operational, safety and quality concepts for PV systems and battery storage systems
The planning, operation and safety conference supports newcomers as well as experienced planners and installers in mastering the challenges and the changed standards and guidelines as well as increased quality and safety requirements. The financial profitability of solar projects also increases when special attention is paid to the quality and long service life of the components and the entire project.
The first day focuses on the planning, assembly, installation and operation of photovoltaic systems. The structural and electrical requirements for components as well as for design and installation are explained. In addition to optimizing system operation, typical errors and defects, particularly in mechanical dimensioning and roof tightness during system construction, and gaps in safety are identified and explained. Application-oriented solutions and products are presented for this purpose.
The second day focuses in particular on battery storage systems. Quality criteria as well as design and installation, safety, operation, aging and recycling of lithium-ion batteries are presented and discussed. As always, future requirements are discussed at an early stage in order to find solutions and thus advance photovoltaics and battery storage as decentralized solutions for the energy transition.
