The ERB organizes with support from National Energy Regulator South Africa (NERSA) an international exchange visit to learn about the current net-metering practice in the City of Cape Town.
Representatives from governments, energy regulators and utilities from multiple Southern African countries (e.g. South Africa, Zambia, Mauritius, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania) will meet for a five days online meeting on MS TEAMS from 9. to 13. November 2020 (every day from 10am to 1pm) to learn about fields of harmonization of their Net- Metering regulations. The harmonization process is supported by the ESREM project initiated and supported by the European Union.
The programme foresees a hands-on exchange between the representatives of public institutions and private sector (i.e. Prosumer, Developer/Industry and Finance). Final programme will be published soon.
