31st Annual Conference of the Working Group of Bavarian Solar Initiatives (ABSI) on March 15 and 16, 2024 in Ebersberg
The annual conference of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bayerischer Solar-Initiativen (ABSI) is taking place for the 31st time. For two days, on March 15 and 16, 2024, everything will revolve around the motto “Energy transition – just do it!” at the Alter Speicher in Ebersberg. The focus will therefore be on examples of best practice as well as specific assistance for implementing measures. Individual sessions are aimed specifically at municipal representatives, but also, for example, at homeowner associations that can benefit from new legal regulations.
There will also be plenty of networking and exchange between the initiatives and their stakeholders. Exhibitors offer a wide range of information on technology, innovations and sustainability topics. For years now, the focus has no longer been solely on solar energy, but on all processes involved in the ecological conversion of the energy supply, including heating and mobility.
Some selected program highlights include the keynote speech by Dr. Serafin von Roon (Research Center for Energy Economics) and the presentations by Dr. Christoph Kost (Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems), who will present current energy policy scenarios for the energy transition in Germany up to 2045. Hans-Josef Fell (Energy Watch Group) will outline the development of renewable energies globally and nationally, while Jörg Ebel (German Solar Industry Association) will address the framework conditions for solar energy in Germany.
